On the hottest day of the year ( so far?), our school became a lively meeting place for European exchange and creativity to mark the end of our “Europa-Aktionstage”. In close cooperation with our neighbours from the Europa Grundschule Westerwaldstr. and guests from the Europaschule BSZ Stendal and Lycée Martin Nadaud (France) we celebrated a special EU event highlighting the power of collaboration among like-minded Europaschulen and Erasmus+ partners.

A particular highlight of the day was the joint project “Our House Europa.” Here, our students from the field of audiovisual media (AVM Grund – und Mittelstufe) worked side by side with primary school pupils to explore and express what Europe means to them. Through creative workshops, interactive games, and artistic activities, they brought their diverse ideas and visions to life. It was impressive to see how different age groups inspired and learned from one another, proving that European values and creativity know no boundaries.

We were also delighted to welcome our new Erasmus+ partner from France, planting the seeds for future cooperation in our shared EU project “Voices Across the Wall.”
The day concluded with colourful chalk art and refreshing ice cream, a perfect way to end a vibrant event full of teamwork and joy.
We are excited to see how our AVM students will transform the results of this collaboration into audio snippets, giving voice to the young perspectives on Europe.
This event marks the beginning of a promising partnership. We are already looking forward to continuing and deepening this exchange in the future.
Wishing you all a great summer break!
