The sound of Bergamo set the stage for an inspiring start.
We are delighted to share that the first student & teacher meeting of our Erasmus+ KA-2 project Easy_AI successfully took place in Bergamo, Italy 🇮🇹 (1.03.- 6.03.2026).
Eighteen students and five educators from four partner countries — Germany 🇩🇪, Italy 🇮🇹, Spain 🇪🇸, and Turkey 🇹🇷 — came together for an intensive and inspiring week of collaboration focused on Artificial Intelligence and Sustainability.
Hosted in beautiful Bergamo, with valuable academic input from lecturers Stefano Coniglio and Gabrielle Torri at the University of Bergamo, the program was filled with innovation, creativity, and true European teamwork.
Special thanks to media producer Lorenzo Goisis, as well as Raffaele Russo and Alberto Benigni — owner of the IT agency Overmob — for enriching the week with practical insights and real-world perspectives.
Throughout the meeting, participants:
- Developed concepts for podcast creation and produced their first two episodes
- Designed a logo for the project
- Explored gaming elements as tools for engagement and learning
- Worked hands-on with AI concepts in the context of sustainability
- Collaborated across cultures and languages
One of the most inspiring aspects was witnessing how a group of young Europeans — starting from scratch — quickly formed a strong and collaborative team. Despite different languages and backgrounds, they communicated, created, and innovated together. This is exactly what Erasmus+ stands for: building bridges, fostering mutual understanding, and shaping a sustainable future through cooperation.
The group’s energy, motivation, and openness made this experience truly unforgettable.
