More than 20 schools from 12 different countries came together in Pombal, Portugal, to create a very special European festival for the local community.
We were incredibly lucky to be part of this unique experience with 15 of our students. It was an unforgettable time filled with creativity, laughter, cultural exchange, new friendships and a shared European spirit.
One of the most special aspects was seeing our own GSO community come together in a completely new way. Apprentices from different training programmes, year groups and classes worked side by side, got to know each other beyond the boundaries of everyday school life and formed friendships that reached far beyond their usual classrooms. It was a wonderful reminder of how much we can learn from one another when we step outside our familiar routines.
Together, we celebrated what connects us while embracing the diversity that makes Europe so special.
